Hundreds of award-winning plants will be on view as the Cactus and Succulent Society of America presents its 48th annual show and sale. Rare specimens from around the world will be showcased, including plants native to Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Botswana, Madagascar, and the Middle East. The juried competition will also include categories for photography, paintings, crafts, and dish gardens. Plants and related items will be available for sale both days, with an early-bird plant sale Friday, noon–4:30 p.m. Friends’ Hall. Previous Show Photos #1 Photos #2

| NOTE: The location of the Show has been changed to the Botanical Center (#4 on the HBG map) which is NE of the Conservatory and Children's Garden. Cacti will be displayed in Banta Hall (along with the Membership & Information Tables) and Succulents will be found in the Ahmanson Classroom. The Annual meeting will be in Danner Conference Room and the Annual Dinner will be in the Atrium which is located downstairs. | |
The Cactus and Succulent Society of America was founded in 1929. The society is dedicated to the study, cultivation and propagation of cacti and succulent plants. The society has also been active in the goal of the dissemination of information and conservation of the plants world wide. Members enjoy a bi-monthly journal and newsletter.
